TWINHEAD DANCE is a two-person dance company dedicated to uplifting and sustaining contemporary dance in Buffalo, NY. Since our inception in 2024, TwinHead Dance has performed original work in New York, Massachusetts, and Pennsylvania. TwinHead Dance was founded by performance artists Michaela "M" Neild and Nancy Hughes in response to a lack of infrastructure in support of contemporary dance in Buffalo, New York. Through this company, we aim to create more spaces and opportunities for the ongoing creation of new contemporary dance works, both for ourselves and for our broader dance community, through performance and production, educational workshops, and annual community works-in-progress showings.
